Should Sachin retire?

I read Sachin mentioned in one press conference,  "No one told me when to begin, why should people be NOW commenting on whether or not I should retire"

Sachin's argument lacks logic. No one advised him when to begin, because the Master Blaster was not known to the world then. Those who wish Sachin should retire from active cricket, actually love him. They only wish Sachin should not be unceremoniously excluded from the national team or meet Ganguly's fate. Even after retiring from playground, Sachin can still  continue guiding and coaching the players.

I compare Sachin with Savyasaachi Arjun of Mahabharat, who had to ultimately retire from the battleground, as time and tide wait for none (last Parva of the Epic).

Come cricket! India needs a Malinga!!

Wah kya nazara tha!! 11 Indian tigers dancing with Sachin on their shoulders. ICC World Cup is an achievement of Team India. It was the most precious gift the team mates and we Indians gave Sachin. The match is over; both the teams played their best. We need one Malinga in Indian team; let us appreciate. Remember how Malinga was cheered when he played for Mumbai Indians last year.

Good luck India

Many may not like this comment, but look at it this way. Whole India plays just one game. With an exception of Sachin, could we really make any lasting global mark in cricket? Look at our consistently poor performance in Asian Games and Olympics. What importance do we attach to sports at the national level? The national players of other games do not even get proper remuneration. With this state of affairs, I doubt whether our young generation could be attracted and motivated towards sports. Cricket is always associated with media hype; most of that is associated with commercial reasons. World Cup! Good Luck India!!
